At Armstrong Creek School, our new STEM initiative empowers students in Years 5–10 to become innovative problem solvers. Following the Victorian Curriculum for Digital Technologies and Design and Technologies, the program challenges students to think critically, design creatively and apply technology to real-world problems. Through hands-on projects, coding and engineering challenges, students develop essential skills in collaboration, resilience, and analytical thinking.
By aligning this with our Science Curriculum, students are encouraged to explore, experiment and investigate the world around them. Through knowledge-based learning and hands-on experiments, they develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills that complement their STEM education, equipping them for a future of discovery and innovation.
This exciting addition to our curriculum fosters a culture of curiosity and prepares students for a future driven by deep scientific knowledge, technology and innovation.
