Humanities

Geography, History and Economics
Students develop a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of their world through units of inquiry on Humanities and Science.  Inquiries promote the acceptance of diversity and intercultural understanding.  A wide range of experiences develop a deeper understanding of self, our local, national and global environment.

Personal Learning and Health
The Aim of Armstrong Creek School is to develop skills, attitudes and beliefs which will promote healthy, secure and safety conscious students.  In establishing their self-concept, students develop an awareness of their feelings, beliefs and behaviour, recognising their strengths and weaknesses.  Positive choices are encouraged which maintain a healthy well-balanced lifestyle.  Conflict resolution, diversity, cultural, racial and religious similarities and differences are appreciated.  Students cultivate a sense of autonomous learning through the development of reflective skills, as they set and action personal goals
